Welcome!
I'm Bushra Mir, a mixed-methods researcher who graduated Cum Laude from Pomona College with a major in Sociology, concentration in Human-Centered Design (HCD), and minor in Economics.
I embrace a people-oriented approach with my experience in UX Research, Consumer Insights, and HCD. I'm especially drawn to systems of care in technology. My 3+ years of qualitative research experience and quantitative toolkit with Qualtrics and R enable me to integrate research insights with business goals—telling compelling stories that bridge the gap between users and decision-makers from software to hardware.
Every experience is designed, intentionally or not. So, for me, being a researcher is to uplift user voices in decision-making. By influencing decisions, improving usability, and shaping feature roadmaps, I help teams build user-driven tech that empowers rather than overwhelms.

Explore ongoing and past projects to see how I strive to apply a UX research framework to organizations, and also consulting and academic research.
